When We Meet

A ceramic installation of shifting forms, holding the space between what is and what is becoming.

Created for Chocnyc, the work continues my exploration of connection. Using the life cycle of a single flower as a starting point, each stage feels complete, but something changes when they meet. That’s where the color shows up.

After installation, a piece fell and broke. I repaired it and realized it had become more interesting. I took the work down, broke the pieces, and rebuilt them. In breaking, the work found its form. I hope it offers a moment of connection in embracing difference.
