No, Thank You
These pieces draw inspiration from heartfelt conversations with my children. Parenting has been an incredible source of both joy and challenge, pushing me to feel deeply while also reminding me to slow down and savor life’s simplest moments.
I created these works with intention and simplicity—avoiding overthinking, allowing honesty to guide what I observe. I also used my non-dominant hand when writing these passages, as a reminder to embrace discomfort and find ease within it.
In this thankful season, may these works invite you to pause, reflect, and appreciate the imperfect, tender beauty that surrounds us every day.

We all long to be seen and liked, but sometimes that makes us say yes when our heart says no. ‘No, thank you’ is a gentle way to honor our hearts— a lesson my children keep teaching me
…because asking for help is courageous, and sometimes all we need is to be held, not healed
Sometimes the simplest response between people is the most human. A small bridge, no advice, no fixing, just understanding...
Parenting humbles and surprises. We strive to evolve beyond our own parents, yet love still finds its way through what’s ingrained in us. To my teenage child… some of my “I love you” has quietly become “Are you hungry?”
We seek comfort in familiarity. Perhaps being different is how we show the world what bravery looks like
The future is mine to walk, yours to imagine, not to live
